Just because strength does not but Jiu-Jitsu does not mean that you have (or should) stop working out all together.
In fact a lot of our members still lift 2 to 3 times a week to supplement their Jiu-Jitsu! 💪
These exercises can be bodyweight workouts, plyometrics, yoga, high rep/low weight, high intensity training (HIT), and many more.
The point is you want to lift so that you feel strong; and avoid lifting so that you are stiff/sore and don’t wanna go to class. Ex: 👇
