    How many kids is too many kids? Creating, an appropriate class roster for Jiu-Jitsu isn’t the easiest thing you’ll undertake. Too few kids……and you won’t have similar body types, or age groups. Too many kids and you run out of mat space. There’s also a “perceived” issue of classroom management. In a traditional classroom setting, Michigan requires anywhere from 12:1 - 25:1 student:teacher ratio depending on the age.
