This is a very common question; typically amongst….well nerds.
You know the type.
The "Peter Parkers" of the world. ๐ค
And just like there was no PT "Pre-Req" for our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man there is absolutely no physical barrier to entry with Jiu-Jitsu. ๐ฅ
In fact, there are lots of ways the “jocks “of the world have a harder time sticking with Jiu-Jitsu then the nerds do. ๐คฏ
When someone has 5+ years of athletic experience.....they have a pretty solid base of movement and understanding of how the human body works.
What they DON'T understand is the leverage and physics that make Jiu-Jitsu so effective! ๐งช
It’s the typical example between the guy who could bust through a brick wall versus the "kid" who simply found away. ๐
Don't let your inexperience stop you from starting!
We have new people on the mat EVERY single day and we're VERY good and getting them ground in.....well....their ground game! ๐ (We're kind of nerds as well ๐).
See you on the mats,
Coach David
