“Hey coach you got a second?”

I’ve had more of these conversations over the past week than I can keep track of.

Par for the course at this point. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Several are people asking for details about the gym.

The buyout.

The future of Metro Jiu-Jitsu.

But this particular parent came to me for a different reason……

“When my son came here a year ago, he had severe confidence issues and was having trouble at school. 🏫

Now he’s turned a 180 and he’s smiling to be here and excited every day!

I just wanted to say “Thank you, sincerely from me and my family.”

This impacted me more than I thought it would. 🙏🏻

You see….customer behavior goes like this.

If service is great….you tell a few people. 🫤

If service is good…you tell no one. 👌

If service is bad….you tell everyone. 🗣️

Small words of kindness go a long way.

Alway have. Always will.

It’s easy to get “Black Belt Brain” on the lives you touch through martial arts.

Small gestures like this reinforce the mission.
