Most Jiu-Jitsu Gym Owners Have No Idea What Industry They’re In

Ive LONG said 90% of Jiu-Jitsu school owners have no idea what industry they’re in. 🤔

They believe they’re in martial arts.

They believe they’re in combat.

They believe they’re in the gym space.

They believe that if they win enough medals 🏅 that people will just FLOCK for the privilege of being in their presence.

NEWS FLASH 🗞️

After 8 years and over 10,000 inquiries reaching out for Jiu-Jitsu…….I haven’t had ONE person (who was a beginner) reach out because they (or their child) wanted to be an IBJJ pan champion. 😕

Not. One.

Now once they get in, they will play with the idea of competition. 🏆

And yes when we do Jiu-Jitsu tournaments we tend to do well.

But that’s only once they feel comfortable with you and the team. 👊

What I REALLY care about?

Helping the father of 2 lose 20 pounds to be more active with his kids.

Helping the recovering alcoholic stay off the juice. 🍻

Helping the insecure child speak up for themselves! 🗣️

Helping rape victims have a shot at feeling safer and less vulnerable. 🫂

Helping Law Enforcement 👮‍♀️ become better equipped to do their job.

Those are the things I care about.

It’s the reason why my family & I still train.
